Had to right click and play to watch it, and...
I didn't laugh. Duck hunt dog is kinda a old joke. And the character's personalities were very very painful, They all were more annoying, than funny.
But Buzzsaw Magic totally owns he Barbarian boss's face.
Nicely animated, and a good story, but I think its delivered poorly. The voice over work is probably the worst. The voices don't suit the characters, and unbelievable acting. I think a better way to present the story would be through text. The diary entry near the beginning was a good way, and it doesn't break the feel of the story. The comedic parts also created some poor pacing. While watching I couldn't decide if the story was trying to be serious or not. Mix this with the voice acting, really breaks all the tension in a bad way.
A and L does work
People must have timed it wrong.
But anyway, I tried both ending, first the easy way, but that didn't feel right.
so I wandered the maze until I found the exit.
Felt good too.
Decent, but not amazing.
It has a interesting concept, but its lacking a lot of things. Its glitchy for one. And not minor glitches as everyone says, pretty game breaking glitches. The movement locks up, the games FPS is inconsistent, and what bothered me the most was the sudden spike in the difficulty curve at the first boss. The game went from a walk in the park, to insanely hard, and I found myself grinding levels on level 8 for awhile before I managed to beat him. Maybe I was just doing something wrong, or the lag of the game was screwing me up to much, but there is usually something wrong in a game when a boss is seen more as a roadblock, then a challenge. I got past him, but still, I felt I spent to much time on the first boss grinding levels.
Wasn't working right
The controls were nonresponsive for me. Though the game looked great, it felt glitchy to me, but it seems I might be the only one...
I kept getting stuck. and Dad wouldn't listen to my input. Would run left while I was pressing right, and vice versa, and continued to attack even when I wasn't pressing Z. Seemed to take about 10 seconds for any button press, or release of a button, to go through. I thought the game was designed like that, but even when I pressed the pause button it took 10 seconds before the game paused.
Its alright, but...
Doesn't sound anything like Green Hill zone.
